4, 5, 2, B, A, 6, 1, 3

Layer 4, 5, 6, and 1 are all sedimentary rocks so they formed horizontally. Four and 5 were the most bottom layers of sedimentary rock which makes them the oldest. The erosion 2 was 3rd on my list because it goes through 4 and 5 and also messes up 4's layer, therefore making it newer than 4 and 5. The fault B was next because it went through everything underneath 6 and 1 but not through 3. Fault A was after fault B because it set up the next layers (6 and 1).  After that came 6 followed by 1 because they were basically stacked on top of each other. Three was the last part of Steno's puzzle because it goes through every layer, erosion, and fault.

After watching the slideshow, speculate about why early geologists may have begun to suspect that the Earth was older than 6,000 years.

I think geologists began to think Earth is older than 6,000 years because of the fossils they may have found in the oceans or canyons. Also they might be able to tell how old the canyons are and when and how they evolved. They might have also been able to tell how old the rocks are in the canyons.
